Standard English

As I read the article which was written by Michael Halliday, he said that "Whenever one language is used to describes settings that are primarily constructed in another language, it is bound to take on new meanings-as English did." Exactly, in Chinese, and in Australia all have difference ways to express "jellyfish". Every language enlarges its meanings range when it hosts translations of foreign texts or is uesd to talk about cultural contexts that are different, and distant, from its own.
